ViewSonic's G-Tablet is unlikely to ever get a Honeycomb update, but now according to Pocket-Lint the manufacturer is all prepared to reveal an Android Honeycomb based tablet later this month at Computex 2011. According to their sources, the company has named it the ViewSonic ViewPad 7x, which will ship with the tablet optimized version of Android in a 7-inch form-factor.
The tablet will be powered by dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and it will include two cameras – a front facing for video calling and another camera on its rear. It will support HSPA+ connectivity, and also feature DLNA and HDMI media streaming/sharing capabilities. It is expected to be available in the stores sometime in June, however, the pricing is yet unknown.
